CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance for witnesses or information regarding the suspicious death of a homeless male identified as Dennis Nolan.

On May 3, 2013, at approximately 6:10 p.m., the body of Nolan was located in the Pupukea area near a cave that he resided in. After the autopsy, the case was classified as a homicide.

Victim:       Dennis J. Nolan

Race:         Caucasian 

Age:           44 years old

Height:       5’11”

Weight:      185 lbs.

Hair:            Brown

Eyes:              Blue

5/2/2013 - Witnesses/ Suspect Wanted - News Release 020/13

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses or the suspect for an assault in the first degree that occurred on April 28, 2013, at approximately 5:00 a.m., on Kuhio Avenue.

 

The complainant was sitting on the sidewalk fronting 2260 Kuhio Avenue, when he was approached by an unknown male who struck the complainant and fled on foot in an unknown direction.  A female witness flagged down an officer and was able to give a description.  The complainant was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Race:         Caucasian

Height:      5’8”-5’10”

Weight:     160 lbs.

Clothing:   Gray t-shirt, plaid shorts, black cap

4/29/2013 - John Doe Investigation - News Release 018/13

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in identifying human remains that were recovered from Ford Island on October 25, 2005.

The partial remains were analyzed and found to be a Caucasian male with a predicted age of 45 years old, 5`8" to 6`0". The male had an injured knee and may have walked with a limp. Evidence showed that the male died on land before he was immersed in water several days later.

4/26/2013 - Kidnapping/Sexual Assault Suspect Wanted - News Release 017/13

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for Kidnapping and Sexual Assault in the Third Degree.

 

On April 25, 2013, at approximately 4:25 p.m., a juvenile female was walking on Farrington Highway in Waipahu when she was approached from behind by an unknown male.  The male inappropriately touched the victim then wrestled her to the ground.  A witness driving by observed the incident and drove her vehicle toward the suspect.  The male fled on his bicycle in an unknown direction.

Race:         Filipino

 Age:           30s

Height:      5’2”

Weight:     135 lbs.

Hair:           Black

Eyes:              Brown

4/12/2013 - Witnesses Wanted - News Release 013/13

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating witnesses and information regarding an incident that occurred on April 12, 2013, prior to 2:29 a.m. on Kalanianaole Highway west of Kealahou Street.

A male was found by an officer lying in the road, lifeless, and unresponsive. An autopsy was conducted that showed that the injuries were not consistent with a hit and run and that the male may have been a passenger in a vehicle. We are asking for any information on the vehicle or witnesses that may have seen the incident.

4/5/2013 - Witnesses Wanted for Failure to Render Aid
On March 16, 2013, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the victim was riding his bicycle on Kalanianaole Highway approaching Nenue Street when a gray 4 door sedan turned and struck him causing him to fall. The gray sedan fled the scene. The victim sustained serious injuires to his arms and face.

2/28/2013 - Sex Assault Suspect Wanted - News Release 008/13

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for Sexual Assault in the Third Degree.

 

On February 13, 2013, at approximately 7:50 a.m., a juvenile female was walking on Alohea Avenue near Makapuu Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male.   The male touched her inappropriately and asked her to follow him.  The victim refused and the male fled on foot toward Makapuu Avenue.

 

Suspect:   Unknown Male

Race:        African-American

 Age:           20s

Height:       5’8”-6’0”

Weight:      Thin build

Hair:           Short black

Eyes:          Black

Clothing:       Black t-shirt, black denim long pants, green jacket, and carrying two large duffle bags

2/5/2013 - Suspect/Witnesses Wanted - News Release 06/13

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are the seeking the public`s assistance in locating the suspect(s) or witnesses for an attempted murder.

On February 3, 2013, at approximately 4:52 a.m., fronting 1617 Dillingham Boulevard officers responded to the area on a report of a male needing assistance. Upon their arrival they observed an unresponsive male lying in the road. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Detectives believe that there were numerous people at the bus stop and are asking for any information regarding this incident.

12/6/2012 - Robbery Suspects Wanted - News Release 090/12

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating three males and a female who are wanted for Robbery in the First degree.

 

On December 4, 2012, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the suspects caught a taxi cab from Sheridan Street to 863 Halekauila Street.   Upon their arrival at their destination, one of the males brandished a knife and fled into an unknown establishment.

Height:         5’8”-5’10”

Weight:        180-200 lbs.

Hair:             Dark wavy long hair

12/4/2012 - Fraudulent Use of Credit Card Suspect Wanted - News Release 088/12

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

 

On October 16, 2012, at approximately 10:10 a.m., officers were sent to a home on Hamakua Drive on a report of a possible burglary in progress.  The employee for a fumigation company arrived at the home and heard noises coming from within the tented area and called the police.

 

On October 17, 2012, the complainant conducted an inventory of her residence and found that her credit card had been stolen and used at several locations on the same day.  A detective requested surveillance video from an ATM where the card had been used.  The male was observed driving a white vehicle.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Robbery in the First Degree, and Attempted Sexual Assault in the first Degree. 

 

On December 4, 2012, at approximately 1:45 a.m., the victim was on the beach in Waikiki when she was shoved into the sand and held down by an unknown male.   The male removed items from her pocket and attempted to remover her clothing. The female struggled, yelled for help, and was assisted by two males in the area.  The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

We are seeking the witnesses who assisted the victim.

On November 21, 2012, at approximately 9:50 p.m., two males entered Kentucky Fried Chicken located at 94-849 Waikele Street., brandished a handgun, and demanded money.   Both men fled in an unknown direction.

On October 4, 2012, between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., the victim was in the Aliamanu Military Reservation playground area and was sexually assaulted by an unknown male.

On November 14, 2012, at approximately 12:25 p.m., a male confronted a female in the parking garage of a Waikiki Hotel on Kuhio Avenue.  The male brandished a knife, demanded her cellular phone, and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

 

Suspect:   Unknown male

Race:         Caucasian

 Age:           30-40 years old

Height:       5’6”-5’7”

Weight:      140-150 lbs.

Hair:           Short dark hair

11/13/2012 - Witnesses Wanted for Dog Shooting

On 11/12/12 at approximately 7:27am, a male neutered German Shepherd mixed breed dog named Champ was shot by an unidentified individual on Makona Street in Maili, Hawaii. Little is known at this time. Police say a nearby resident heard gunshots at approximately 7:27am and saw the mixed-breed dog limping away on Makona Street. A local rescue group rushed the dog to a nearby veterinary clinic. The bullet was discovered to be lodged in its spine causing the dog to be paralyzed and suffering. The dog had to be humanely euthanized..

The Hawaiian Humane Society has opened a first degree felony animal cruelty investigation The Hawaiian Humane Society and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking information on the identification of the person(s) involved and any information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of felony animal cruelty. Anyone with information should contact 955-8300 immediately.
